Israel, 2011

Yaelle, a new immigrant in Israel from France and artist, and Aya, a musician and artist, have decided to let a camera into their lives and film their harmonious relationship, versus the complex relationship with Yaelle's parents. The camera became an extension of their body and follows their intimate moments in their home in Jaffa, Israel and their travel to Paris where they attempt to be accepted among Yaelle's family. Their journey is moving between despair and hope, showing courage and honesty alongside the price of freedom.
