Elisa K

Spain, 2010

Elisa will turn eleven this summer. She likes her new white dress with blue ribbons.
But soon everything will lose its importance. Her father’s friend has made her cry and then has told her: "If you stop crying I will give you a silver bracelet".
Nobody realizes what’s happened. Elisa behaves a bit strangely but that’s it. Until she grows up and fourteen years, four months and some days go by, and one day, she calls her mum and, scared, asks her: "Help me, I’ve just remembered something terrible".

The Saturday screening of Elisa K will be followed by a discussion about sexual abuse in childhood with Michal Rozin, executive director of the Association of Rape Crisis Centers in Israel
