Biography

Studying for an MA at the Film Department in Tel Aviv University. She is currently writing her thesis on passion and sexuality in early feminine Israeli film, under the supervision of Dr. Raz Yosef. She teaches photography and film at the Hebrew Gymnasium and taught in the past at Camera Obscura. MFA with honors at the Department for Film and Television at the Tel Aviv University and first degree at the photography department in Bezalel School of Art. Finished the Young Educational Leadership in the Periphery of Mendel School of Educational Leadership.


Her films were screened at festivals in Israel and abroad. Her film Queen Khantarisha won the first prize at the Women's Film Festival in Rehovot in 2009.

Shaer-Meoded won the Sharett Fund scholarship in the years 2002, 2006, 2007 and 2008.
