Biography
Born in Tel Aviv in 1970. Went to Rottberg high school in Ramat Hasharon. In 1988, she joined the army and worked at Galei Tzahal (nationwide Israeli radio network operated by the IDF) until 1996 as music editor, contents editor and broadcaster. At the same time she studied for a first degree specializing in screenwriting at the Department for Film and Television at the Tel Aviv University, and worked as screenwriter and contents editor in several television programs. In 1996, she was part of the foundation team of Tel Aviv Radio and hosted the program Hayafot VeHaamitsot with Michal Niv.
In the years 1998-2003, she was the main screenwriter and editor of Rak BeIsrael on Channel 2. In 2001, she wrote and co-directed with Ram Nahari and television drama A Star Shines Above the Heart  for the cable TV.
She is the screenwriter for the comic drama show Mommy on Channel 2. The series won five academy awards.
Since 2007 she has taught screenwriting in different frameworks (Sam Spiegel Film and Television School, Tel Aviv University, Stage Center).
Works in screenplay editing for television and cinema, contents advising and TV program development. Serves at selection boards (Jerusalem Film and Television Fund, Gesher Multicultural Film Fund).
Marom is currently writing a drama series for Hot, based on the book Mekimi by Noa Yaron Dayan. Mother of two.
