The Sniper

Bosnia Herzegovina, 2007

Adela Jusic's father served in the Bosnian Army from 1992, his task being to hunt down the snipers who were shooting at civilians in breach of human rights and the Geneva Conventions. Until he himself was killed by a sniper's bullet. After his death, Jusic found a notebook in which, for a period of several months, he had listed his victims. The Sniper is an attempt to process the traumatic memories of a war childhood.
