Between the Lines

Israel, 2010

Between the Lines is a multi-genre experimental drama, focusing on a miserable love story between Ella and Eyal. Ella, a theater actress, meets Eyal at a local bar, and in spite of her being moody that day, he manages to make her laugh. Soon they find themselves in a wide white bed, making promises, feeling that faith has got them together and nothing would ever separate them. When morning comes, Ella discovers that Eyal is Mr. Joshua Zinger’s son, the theater manager, who sexually assaulted her not too long before. She packs and leaves the house and the chance for true love, and sails away on the wings of consciousness to a colorful world where the show must always go on.
