Orit Yaakobi Biography Orit Yaakobi was born in 1984 in Petah Tikva. In high school she majored in filmmaking, filming and editing the documentary Sides as her final project. She served in the army as a teacher at the Kfar Hasidim Boarding School. In 2005, she began her studies at the Minshar School of Art. In 2009, she wrote and directed the documentary Collections, about dancer Ido Tadmor. The film was featured in Moments of Home exhibition, and was screened at the Amiad Center in Jaffa. During her studies, she produced the films Seven to Three by Elazar Zinbal, and Oferet Yezuka by Eran Paz. She wrote and directed two additional short films – Temporary and Feel at home, starring Dalia Bagar and Eyal Levi. In 2010, she graduated with honors.
